By using the Catch App or clicking “Agree”, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions legally.
1. Definitions
- App/Platform: The Catch mobile app and related digital services.
- Company/We: The licensed Syrian entity operating Catch.
- User/Passenger: Any person who creates an account and requests rides.
- Driver: An independent provider offering rides via the app.
- Trip: A ride from a chosen pickup to destination.
2. Nature of Service & Legal Relationship
Catch is a technology platform connecting passengers with independent drivers. The company is not a public carrier or a party to transport contracts.
3. Responsible Entity & Licensing
The app is managed by a licensed Syrian company ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality digital services.
4. Target Audience & Registration
- Primarily for users in Syria.
- Registration via phone or social media.
- Minimum age: 18 years old.
5. How the App Works
Available ride types include:
- In-city Taxi
- Inter-city Ride
- Bidding Taxi
- Shared Taxi
- Airport Service
6. Booking for Others
Users must obtain consent before booking for others and are responsible for accuracy of data provided.
7. User Obligations
- Use the app for lawful purposes.
- Provide accurate information.
- Avoid misuse or fraudulent activities.
8. Driver & Vehicle Standards
Required: Valid license, registration, insurance, and ID.
Preferred: Clean car, polite driver, non-smoking.
9. Safety & Conduct
No tolerance for verbal/physical abuse, harassment, or unsafe behavior. Violations lead to suspension or reporting.
10. Privacy & Data
- We collect minimal data for service operation only.
- Data is encrypted and securely stored.
- No external sharing without consent or legal request.
11. Complaints & Support
Complaints can be sent through in-app support and will be handled within 5 business days confidentially.
12. Pricing, Fees & Payment
- Fares are shown before booking.
- Payments processed via authorized providers.
- Refunds reviewed case-by-case.
13. Cancellation & No-show Policy
- Free cancellation within 3 minutes after acceptance.
- 50% fee may apply after driver arrival.
- Repeated cancellations may restrict account.
14. Liability & Indemnity
Services are provided “as is”; company not liable for indirect losses. Maximum liability equals last paid trip amount.
15. Intellectual Property
All content, designs, and trademarks belong to Catch. Unauthorized copying or reverse engineering is prohibited.
16. Dispute Resolution
Disputes shall be resolved amicably through Catch support, or through Syrian courts if unresolved.
17. Electronic Acceptance
By using the app or clicking “Agree”, users legally accept all terms, privacy, and cancellation policies.
